Day 2

On day two we will lay out a step-by-step plan that will take you from a blank to a reed that passes objective tests for quality. We will cover reed structure, how and why we balance a reed from the start, different scraping techniques to get you consistent results, and so much more.

Day 3

The Art of Reed Finishing: objective tests, refining scrapes, maintaining the balance, and much more.  Each student will get a chance to work one-on-one with the instructors to finish their own reeds with the help of pictures and aural cues.
